EMMY EMMY

Hi!

My name is Emily and I'm a 25 year old teacher/writer/sales person/social media manager/student/small business owner/mommy from Northern Ontario. I have a BA in English with a minor in French, and I'm currently a B.Ed student at l'Université de l'Ontario Français in Toronto.

I made this lil site with the foremost intention of having a place apart from social media that felt entirely my own. EMMY EMMY is a personal space where I plan to share thoughts, musings and personal essays that weave together themes of womanhood, wellbeing and reflection. However I am constantly finding new things that interest me, so you’ll probably see a little bit of everything.

I have been writing my entire life, whether it was stories, poems, screenplays, songs, etc. Writing has always felt like the most natural way to share myself with people in a way I can control.

My goal is for anyone who is interested to come and go as they so choose ... although this is mostly for me, I hope that if there is any takeaway for others, it is something of joy or peace.
